Disclaimer

Effective date: 2 October 2026

1. General Information Only

All content on panchang.now, including Panchang details, muhurta windows, festival dates, birth charts and explanatory articles, is provided for general informational, educational and cultural purposes only. It does not constitute religious, astrological, medical, legal, financial or any other professional advice.

2. Not a Religious Authority

panchang.now is a reference, not a religious authority. Panchang traditions differ between regions and communities, and festival dates can vary by sampradaya. The website publishes the North Indian Smarta date by default, as described on the About page. If your community, family priest or guru follows a different convention, please follow their guidance.

3. Calculations and Accuracy

Values on the website are calculated from astronomical positions using a stated set of conventions, including the Lahiri (Chitrapaksha) ayanamsa in its True Chitrapaksha form and apparent sunrise. Other publishers may use different conventions, which can produce different times, dates or placements. While values are regularly cross-checked against published Panchang sources, panchang.now makes no representation or warranty that any information is accurate, complete or current.

4. Important Decisions

For muhurta selection on important life events, such as marriage, business openings, property transactions or religious ceremonies, please consult a qualified practitioner. The website does not provide personal muhurta consultation.

Traditional interpretation guides explain selected conventions and examples. Daily labels such as Good, Neutral and Avoid describe the site's stated timing rules. They do not guarantee an outcome or establish that every condition for a particular ceremony has been assessed.

5. Birth Charts

Birth charts and dasha periods on the website are calculations from the details you enter. Their accuracy depends on the birth date, time and place provided. The website does not interpret charts or make predictions, and the calculations are not a substitute for a consultation with a qualified astrologer.

6. No Professional Relationship

Using the website or sending a message through the contact form does not create any professional, advisory or consultative relationship between you and panchang.now.

7. Advertising, Affiliate Links and Third Parties

The website may display advertising or include affiliate links, as described in the Affiliate Disclosure. The presence of an advertisement or link does not guarantee a third party's claims, products or services.

Advertisers, retailers and affiliate partners operate under their own terms and privacy policies. Their use of cookies and similar technologies, and their available privacy controls, may differ. The Privacy Policy describes these categories of use; any example of a provider's controls applies within that provider's stated scope.

panchang.now does not control third-party content, pricing, fulfilment or data practices. This disclaimer does not exclude rights or responsibilities that applicable law does not permit to be excluded.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, panchang.now will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the website or its content. Please see the Terms of Use for details.
